Events in GalCiv II

One of the things that has kept me playing GalCiv from beta and right on until now is the event engine. I just love the way that no two games play alike, and the events are a major factor in that.

Will GalCiv II have a system similar to this??

I'm here based on my Altarian Prophecy purchase I think.

But anyway, back to the topic. Events. More of. And more sophisticated? I'm interested to hear what that means!
