A thing that I have always found annoying in GalCiv was, that you had to manually keep track of your tribute income. You had no way of seeing what races were paying you tribute, and how long time there was until the payments stopped.

This is a thing that I would like to see changed in GalCiv 2. It would be very nice to be able to see a comprehensive list of all sources of income, with information on how much of that income comes from what race, whether is is trade, tribute or other, and for how long time that income wil continue, if known.

I don't like to have to use pen and paper, when I play a computergame. With GalCiv, I feel I have to.

ederation should be totally unable to do such a thing.

May also be nice to allow diplomatic options to renegotiate tributes, short of declaring war.

which you could wage war on those races, if you were able to convince the parliament that such a war is a must. How that could be done, I'm not sure. Let me get back to you on this.

quickly get a feel for the general health of my empire and get an idea for what sorts of political actions I could get away with (and afford)

More info is always good.

More info displayed neatly and not buried under tons of menus is even better.

How about having more than one kind of money, just like there are 3 kinds of weapons? You don't want to have lots of different resources to track, but having maybe 3 kinds of currency would be better.

s or tributes would also be good.

Yeah....that would be a way to do it, Paul.

It would be great to have that info. I really miss it in GalCiv.

Erm... yes you do have to screw with "paliament". That's what the senate is, and it's been a reasonably popular choice for additions to the gameplay (more interplnaetary politics)

Because reviving year-and-a-half-old pre-public-beta threads is fun! *clink*
